So earlier this week i was browsing some forums when i came across a post of someone saying this guy had posted info on firmware 2.8 a week before the firmware was even announced.... i scanned and looked and sure enough a guy with the name super_secret was posting saying firmware 2.8 will be out on the 24th and it will not have any new improvements. After the firmware was officially announced the guy went on to say if you want any info on any ps3 or psp related stuff please ask and he will post what he knows. apparently this guy is part of the hardware department and sure enough he goes on and answers a few questions people have asked. just read the reply he posted its pretty interesting, he starts off with ps3 slim stuff....
Kotaku is reporting that "Sources close to game development" have told Destructoid that Sony will be unveiling an App. Store at this year's Games Con in Germany. This new element to the PSPgo shopfront will feature "smaller, 'non-retail' games and applications", which will be priced at roughly $2-$6 and must come in at under 100MB.
Hopefully the sources are correct, an app store with small games and applications would be very welcome. I can only imagine... PSP with a Facebook App, or a Calendar / PDA app? If true what apps would you like to see?
Well looks like Spinal Tap and Evanescence will be added to the Rock Band store soon. It's looking like we'll be getting 4 songs From Spinal Tap and 3 fromEvanescence, all coming in nifty little download packs or single song purchases. Dates look like June 16 for xbox360 and June 18 for PS3. More info and press release in article.

Well looks like the PSP Go has been leaked. The newest episode of Qore will have all the details on the new system and guess what?... it leaked early. The new system will have 16gig internal memory and will also add bluetooth. There will be no UMD drive and the system is said to be 44% lighter than the PSP 3000. E3 does not look too eventful this year. Despite already having five titles that we already know they are working on, the developers behind the Grand Theft Auto franchise, Rockstar Games, don’t have any plans on showing anything at this years E3 event, as reported by EuroGamer.
The developer behind hit games such as Fallout and the Oblivion, Bethesda Softworks has revealed their plans to announce a Wii project later this year. In an interview with industry site GamesIndustry, Bethesda Europe’s Sean Brennan questioned whether there’s a market for 18-year-old-and-up Wii titles.
Well looks like the rumored Slim PS3 pics might hold more value than once thought. Many were saying these so called leaked pics were nothing more than just some ones photoshop skills. Well, I caught word from engadget that they were sent a cease and desist email from a Chinese Law firm... hmm. Take all this with a grain of salt I guess, but seems too ellaborate for a scam if you ask me. Also just saw that David Ellis at 1up got one also... good hoax or someone trying to cover something up?
